It was writer Arthur C. Clarke who said, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
Ankal the witch is a story about a good witch and a bad witch. It takes place mostly in the present and pits our modern magic against the eye of newt tongue of frog kind. I took every opportunity in this story to poke fun at all the stuff we take too seriously. I expect no one will have any trouble with the wordplay. Ten years from now it will be as distant as Beowulf.
The illustration is by Bill Dempster. Never seen a blond witch? Fellows who are dating can verify that they exist.
